Trojan.Fake.AV.Kyn is a Trojan that pretends to be a security program. It claims to clean the system of any unwanted malware and files. The Trojan will create an .exe file in documents and settings from where the registry settings are altered. All this is done to ensure the Trojan is booted at every fresh reboot of the system. Usually, the Trojan makes use of pop ups which claim that the system is infected and requires an upgrade to clean the malware. The Trojan also affects other programs intended to keep the system free of malware like malicious programs. It often disguises payment option for the user to be tricked into believing it as a legitimate security program.
